Profile of Academician Wu Bei:

Academician of The Gerontological Society of America and Gerontology Higher Education Society, member of STTI, chairman of tutor guidance committee of The Gerontological Society of America, chairman of geriatiric dentistry research branch of international dental research association. Academician Wu Bei is currently the joint responsible person for the establishment of aging research center of NYU, lifelong chair professor for global health of School of Nursing of NYU and responsible person of aging research center. Besides, she is appointed to be responsible person for the scientific research of gerontological nursing institute of NYU.

Academician Wu Bei is a globally famous gerontics research leader with international influence. As project responsible person, she presided over a lot of large-scale scientific research projects funded by American federal agencies, including several projects funded by NIH and CDC. Up till now, she has published more than 350 high-quality peer-reviewed papers, conference summary, monographs and monograph chapters. The papers and masterpieces published by her cover a lot of topics related to aging and health, including dental health, long-term care, relevant study of and care for dementia, and so on.
