Nanchang University Holding 2018 Freshmen Opening Ceremony

On the morning of September 16, 2018 Freshmen Opening Ceremony of Nanchang University was held in the gymnasium of Qianhu campus, and all the freshmen of grade 2018 completed their entrance ceremony.

Secretary of Party Committee of the University, President Zhou Chuangbing and other in-school leaders, Provincial Education Department and representatives of teachers and students jointly attended the event. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Secretary of Party Committee of the University Huang Enhua.

The venue was rotated with the patterns of “1921 Jiangxi Medical Specialized School”, “Gate of 1940”, “1958”, “Nanchang University in 1993”, “211”, “Mountains and Rivers”, “Double First-class”, “Undergraduate”, “I love NCU”, every pattern represents the important historical period of Nanchang University. Freshmen demonstrated the historical development and era picture of Nanchang University by such means.

Zhou Chuangbing made a speech titled Opening the Gate of University with the Best Self. Representative of undergraduate freshmen, Student Zhang Wanting from School of Public Administration, representative of overseas freshmen and Student Ye Fan from Russia made speeches respectively.

In the end, with the loud singing of school song, freshmen of grade 2018 set sail towards their new journey.
