Young Lecturers from School of Architecture and Civil Engineering Won Awards in National Lecturing Competition

On September 30, the results of the 7th National Lecturing Competition of Young Teachers in the field of Water Conservancy were announced. Huang Wei, a young lecturer in the Department of Water Conservancy Engineering, School of Architecture and Civil Engineering of NCU, won the first prize in the lecturing competition of the Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering group, and Hong Anyu won the second prize in the group of the Agricultural Water Conservancy Engineering.


The competition was jointly organized by China Association of Hydraulic Engineering Education and the Water Conservancy Teaching Advisory Board under the Ministry of Education, with the purpose of enhancing the enthusiasm and creativity of young lecturers in water conservancy majors, cultivating a backbone teaching team and improving mutual learning and exchange, so as to comprehensively level up the teaching quality of water conservancy majors. The contestants were divided into four groups, which are Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering, Water Conservancy and Hydro power Engineering, Port Waterway and Coastal Engineering, and Agricultural Water Conservancy Engineering. Each of the contestants gave an on-site lecture within 20 minutes about basic or professional courses in their specific field.


This Competition attracted young lecturers from 45 universities across the country, including Hehai University, Wuhan University, Tianjin University, Sichuan University, Jilin University, Dalian University of Technology, China Agricultural University, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Nanchang University and etc.
