2020 Annual Conference of Law Journal Research Association of Chinese Law Society held at NCU

On November 28th, the 2020 Annual Conference of the Law Journal Research Association of the Chinese Law Society, hosted by the Law Journal Research Association of the Chinese Law Society and undertaken by the School of Law, NCU, was held on the campus. Zhang Wenxian, member of the Party Group and Director of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Law Society, delivered the keynote speech at the conference. Zhang Xinbao, president of the Law Journal Research Association of the Chinese Law Society, and Yu Xiaoshe, secretary of the party committee of Nanchang University, attended the conference and delivered speeches.

At the conference, the reply of the Party group of the Chinese Law Society on the personnel changes of the vice chairman and the explanation of the re-election of the Research Association in 2021 were announced. The Articles of the Research Association (the revised draft) was reviewed, and the publication process and post-editing instructions of the Law Reference Manual were detailed. Prof Qin Qianhong,vice president of the Research Association, Prof Wang Jian, vice president of Northwest University of Political Science and Law, and Prof Yang Song, vice president of Liaoning University delivered keynote speeches successively. The vice president Prof Yang Jianshun, Prof He Haibo, associate editor of Tsinghua Law, Prof Dong Yanbin, deputy editor of Modern Law, Prof Yang Feng, dean of School of Law, NCU, Lin Shiping, director of the Academic Journal Evaluation Center of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Chen Na, general manager of the legal department and director of the legal product planning department of the Chinese Academic Journals(CD Edition) electronic magazine, and Sun Mei, deputy director of the editorial department of pkulaw.com, gave themed speeches respectively.

The theme of this conference is "in-depth study of Xi Jinping's thoughts on the rule of law, discussion of the interpretation of law journals, interpretation of Xi Jinping's thoughts on the rule of law, and service for comprehensive rule of law", aimed to build an academic discussion platform and promote the innovation of law theory.
