NCU Approved to Conduct the International Cooperative Training Program for National Innovative Talents of 2019

On July 10, the international cooperative training program for innovative talents in the field of food nutrition and function applied by NCU was reviewed and approved by experts and was selected as the International Cooperative Training Program for National Innovative Talents of 2019. This is the first time that our university’s program is selected as this type of program. 53 programs from Tsinghua University, Beihang University and other institutions of higher education were selected this time.

Our university’s national cooperative training program for innovative talents in the field of food nutrition and function aims at carrying out joint master and doctor training and visiting scholar exchange in food science and engineering major and food hygiene major with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), University of Guelph in Canada, and Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. The implementation of this program will be funded by China Scholarship Council, facilitating the construction of “world-class discipline” of food science and engineering major in our university.

Previously, our university had a good foundation for cooperation with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), University of Guelph in Canada, and Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand in talent cooperation, joint publication of high-level papers, joint scientific research projects, and construction of joint laboratories.
