Affiliated Stomatological Hospital holds 40th anniversary celebration

Oct 24, The Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanchang University held the 2020 Stomatological Education 5G Cloud Summit Forum and the 40th Anniversary Celebration of School of Stomatology. More than 60 stomatology experts and scholars from universities and scientific research institutes across the country, together with 400 teachers, students and employees of the Affiliated School of Stomatology of Nanchang University, celebrated the 40th anniversary of the school’s establishment, and enjoyed the academic feast of stomatology.

Zhang Zhiyuan, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, former Dean of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Stomatology, Honorary Dean of Affiliated Stomatological Hospital Nanchang University, Yu Xiaoshe, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanchang University,Wang Shuipi, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Health Commission, and Liao Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanchang University attended the forum and delivered a speech respectively. The 40th anniversary celebration has built the scholars and experts a stage to share their views and research results.Academician Zhang Zhiyuan, Professor Yang Jian, Dean of the Dental Hospital of Nanchang University, Professor Ricardo Schwedhelm, Associate Dean of Washington University School of Dentistry,Professor Fu Hongyu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wuhan University Stomatological Hospital, Professor Deng Xuliang, Associate Dean of Peking University School of Stomatology,Professor Wang Lin, School of Dentistry, Nanjing Medical University, Professor Yang Jie, School of Dentistry, Temple University, Professor Chen Jihua, School of Stomatology of The Fourth Military Medical University, Professor Shen Xiefei, West China School/Hospital of Stomatology Sichuan University, Professor Han Xiaozhe, Forsyth Institute, Harvard University, and Professor Zhang Hai, Washington University School of Dentistry, each of them gave a themed speech in terms of the relationship between oral health and general health, new technologies, new materials related to dental medicine teaching and etc.

Prior to the celebration, the School of Stomatology also organized the third alumni conference, the third academic annual meeting of the Oral Medicine Education Committee of the Jiangxi Stomatological Association, and the 2020 Working Conference of the Jiangxi Stomatological Association.
