First Batch of Graduates in NCU-QMUL School Awarded Dual Degrees


On the afternoon of June 26, 2018, NCU-QMUL Medicine (Biomedical Sciences) jointed program 2013 Cohort Graduation Ceremony were held in campus. The graduates of this program were awarded NCU Medicine Bachelor’s Degree and QMUL Biomedical Sciences Bachelor’s Degree.

Mr. Colin Bailey, President of QMUL, Mr. Colin Grant and Mr. Wen Wang, deputy Presidents of QMUL, Mr. Ralph, Consul (Culture and Education) of British Consulate-General in Guangzhou, Mr. Richard Pickersgill, Dean of UMUL Biomedical Sciences School, Mr. Peter Heathcote, director of the joint program of NCU and QMUL, President Zhou Chuangbing and deputy president Li Baoming attended the ceremony and took the seats on platform.



Colin Bailey and Chuangbing awarded degrees to graduates, straightened the tassel in their trencher caps and took group photos.    



Colin Bailey congratulated graduates on their academic achievements in his address. He praised those graduates’ excellent knowledge, abundant practical experience and broad international view, which perfectly meets the needs of global development. He wishes graduates could make contribution to the global economy, social development and could further promote the international relationships.

President Zhou Chuangbing extended sincere welcome to guests from afar and heart-felt congratulation to graduates.


Li Baoming gave awards to NCU Outstanding graduates




NCU-QMUL Medicine (Biomedical Sciences) jointed program was opened to enrollment in 2013, which demands applicants’ score for college entrance exam to reach the 211 project university’s score-limit. The length of schooling is five years. Since the launch of this program, NCU-QMUL school has enlisted 1084 students, among which there are 97 graduates of  grade 2013. 55graduates have obtained offers from well-known universities in home and abroad, half of which were enrolled by 985 Project Universities and 211Project universities. 30 graduates obtained exam-free recommendation to pursuit their master’s degrees, which covers a rate of 31%.

      NCU-QMUL Medicine (Biomedical Sciences) jointed program is the highest joint educational program in Jinagxi, and it is the first joint dual degrees program between China and other countries in cultivating students in Medicine and Biomedical science.
