NCU and University of Canterbury Signing Framework MOU

The delegation of Anthony BairdManager of International Relations Affairs and Simon ArnoldRepresentative of School of Education Health and Human Development of University of Canterbury visited NCU on April 11. Vice President Li Baoming met with the delegation, and relevant persons-in-charge of Department of International Affairs andSchoolofPhysical Educationand Education also joined the meeting.


During the talks, both universities signed framework MOU, and conducted in-depth discussion and exchange for the cooperation in the fields of long and short term students exchange, teachers visit, cooperative school running, and etc.


 University of Canterbury is a famous research-oriented university with the second profound history in New Zealand. The University has School of Engineering which was earliest in New Zealand and the largest School of Education, enjoying a high reputation internationally. According to 2017 QS World University rankings, University of Canterbury ranks in the 214th place, and its civil engineering major and education major ranking in the 51st place.
