Student Huang Huan of Grade 2013 Won the Grand Prize in East China Division of China National Japanese Speech Contest

        On May 28, the 11th China National Japanese Speech Contest (East China Division) was held at the International Conference Center of Shanghai International Studies University. Huang Huan, a student of Grade 2013 majors in Japanese of School of Foreign Language, won the grand prize, and she will go to Tokyo to participate in the final on behalf of East China in July. This is our province for the first time to receive this award. Meanwhile, our school obtained a key breakthrough in Japanese major.

        “China National Japanese Speech Contest”, approved by the Ministry of Education and corporately organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange, Nikkei Inc. and the Society of Chinese Professors in Japan, is the competition platform for Chinese universities’ Japanses major students and highly appraised by all sectors of Chinese and Japanese society.  There are a total of 23 students from The Shanghai Foreign Studies University, Shanghai University, Shanghai University of Foreign Trade, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, Nanchang University, Jiangxi Normal University and other colleges and universities participated in the competition.
