On the opening ceremony, Sun Jusheng, Vice Governor of Jiangxi, Zhou Chuangbing, President of Nanchang University, Chen Jiangtao, Chairman of Beijing Xuanji Information Technology Co., Ltd. respectively unveiled the nameplates of Jiangxi Ecological Civilization Research Institute and Nanhang University Ecological Civilization Science Big Data Cooperative Innovation Center. Zhao Penggao, Zhou Chuangbing, Vice Inspectors of Department of Resources Saving and Environmental Protection of National Development and Reform Commission respectively addressed, Wang Qianhu, member and vice director of leading Party group of Jiangxi Development and Reform Commission presided over the opening ceremony. Almost 700 persons from government, institutions of higher learning and enterprises attended this activity.
Jiangxi Ecological Civilization Research Institute was established by Jiangxi Development and Reform Commission and Nanchang University, aiming at providing theory and technology support and strategic decision support for construction of National Ecological Civilization Test Area (Jiangxi), and will develop research on relevant theory, technology innovation and management system mechanism in ecological environment big data, monitoring and early warning, environment pollution treatment technology, ecological protection and renovation, green development and system mechanism.
This activity attracted 20 medias’ participation, including China Daily, CCTV, China Economic Herald, CNR, Jiangxi Daily, Jiangxi TV and Hong Kong Commercial Daily, and the Xinhua News Agency carried out live broadcast on this activity with on-site cloud, gaining good social response.
