In recent years, NCU has actively expanded the students exchange projects with overseas high-level universities, and established platforms for students studying abroad under government fund. Currently, we have launched more than 40 various kinds of studying abroad/academic visit projects, like mutual recognition of credits, exchange of students, joint training, and etc., we have accumulatively dispatched 168 students overseas for one and more semesters study in the USA, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Spain, Russia, Hungary, Mexico, Singapore, and etc., and learning fields cover such majors as liberal arts, science, engineering and medicine.
Among 168 students, 55 of them won the scholarship for government funded studying abroad of China Scholarship Council, including 27 winning qualification for joint training of doctor students or pursuing doctor’s degree abroad; 5 of them won EU “Desiderius Erasmus” Scholarship; 25 of them PhD students studied abroad via our project of “doctor students’ studying/academic visit abroad program”; 3 undergraduate students studied inUniversity of California, Berkeley of the USA by virtue of overseas universities’ exchange project; 80 undergraduate students studied in our overseas cooperative institutions for one semester or one academic year by means of among-the-universities exchange project.
