On March 9, the Second Plenary Session and 2025 Annual Board Meeting of Nanchang University's（NCU）Confucius Institute at the University of Poitiers were successfully convened. The meeting brought together Chinese board members, led by Wang Li, Vice President of NCU, and French counterparts, including Stéphane Mottet, Vice President of the University of Poitiers, and Majdi Khoudeir, President of the ISAE-ENSMA. Also in attendance were the incumbent and incoming Chinese and French directors of the Confucius Institute, along with other relevant personnel.
The meeting proceeded in two stages: the plenary session and the board meeting. During the plenary session, participants reviewed the 2025 annual work report and financial statements, and discussed the appointment of new board members. The board meeting approved key personnel appointments, including the new Treasurer, and the incoming French and Chinese directors of the Confucius Institute. It also set forth strategic guidance for the Institute's medium- to long-term development, with specific directives for 2026. The meeting further strengthened consensus between the Chinese and French partners and deepened mutual collaboration, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the Confucius Institute.
