Profile of Lecturer:

Zhang Weiping, a native of Laiwu of Shandong, was enrolled into Law Department of Southwest University of Political Science & Law in 1979, stayed at school to teach in 1986, was exceptionally promoted from lecturer to professor in 1993, in the same year went to Japan to study in the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and Hitotsubashi University Faculty of Law, obtained doctoral supervisor qualification in 1996, in the same year became the gainer of special allowance of the State Council, and was elected into national “Talents Project”, famous teacher of Beijinginstitution of higher learning, and “talent in liberal arts of Tsinghua University”. He has been transferred to teach in Tsinghua University School of Law from the beginning of Year 1999 until now. He ever undertook editor-in-charge of magazines of Modern Law, Tsinghua Law, and now is professor, doctoral supervisor, academic leader of procedural law of Tsinghua University School of Law, member of academic board of Tsinghua University, standing director of China Law Society, member of academic board of China Law Society, chairman of China Civil Procedural Law Academy, vice chairman of China Prosecutorial Science Academy, vice chairman of China Arbitration Law Academy, advisory member of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate. He has over ten independent works, and over forty cooperated works, nearly 180 academic theses, including over 90 academic articles in core journals, over 70 law-category core journals and his teaching course of “civil procedural law” is a national superior course.
