Lecturer: Ling Wen

Ling Wen, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is currently a member of the Leading Party Group of People’s Government of Shandong Province, a Chairman of Shandong Association for Science and Technology, a Chair Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, a member of the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), the Chairman of the Committee on Engineering and the Environment, and the Director of the Management Consulting Committee of China Enterprise Confederation.

He was the CFO and CEO of China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, a Deputy Party Secretary of the Leading Party Group and the General Manager of Shenhua Group, a Vice Governor of Shandong Province, a Delegate to the 19th CPC National Congress, a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a Delegate to the 12th Party Congress of Shandong Province, a Deputy to the 13th and 14th Shandong Provincial People's Congress; the Vice President of the Systems Engineering Society of China, and the Vice President of the Chinese Energy Society. He is one of the first doctors and postdoc of Systems Engineering in Chinaand has long been committed to applying systems engineering theory to solve major engineering problems. He has won the National Science and Technology Progress Award, theGold Award of the China Excellent Industrial Design Award, and the Industry-University-Research Institute Cooperation Outstanding Contribution Award. He presided over and directly managed the establishment of the China HydrogenAlliance and served as the first Chairman. He is aNational Model Worker, a National Financial Model Worker,and a National Outstanding Postdoc.
