Profile of Lecturer:

Zhang Minqiang: Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Psychology level two professor of School of Psychology of South China Normal University, Doctoral Supervisor of Applied Psychology/Psychometrics, expert enjoying special allowance from the State Council, currently taking the position of President of Educational Statistics and Measurement Branch of the Chinese Society of Education, Counselor (Deputy Department Level) of People’s Government of Guangdong Province, Executive Chairman and Secretary-general of Guangdong Psychological Association, President of Talent Assessment and Examination Institute of South China Normal University. He also takes such concurrent positions for a long term as expert member for exam center of Ministry of Education and Public Health, Chinese test of national Chinese office, expert of Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. His major research orientations are psychology and educational statistics and measurement, talent assessment and selection, and so on. He has published more than 70 academic papers in recent five years, nearly 100 papers were adopted by international academic conferences, and is presiding over several state-level topics. His scientific research achievements once won one first prize and one second prize for excellent achievements of national educational science of Ministry of Education, and his monograph won one National Book Award.
