In the face of the severe global pandemic, adhering to the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, China does not hesitate to invest in international cooperation in the fight against the pandemic, and acts concretely to inject positive energy into the global fight against Covid-19. In Chad, Africa, which has 7 hours of time difference from the motherland, China's 15th batch of medical aid to Chad is also fully engaged in local anti-epidemic operations. The 15th batch of medical aid to Chad is composed of medical staff from Nanchang, Xinyu, Pingxiang and other places, launched by the Health Commission of Jiangxi Province. Their working place is in the China-Chad Friendship Hospital in NDjamena, the capital of Chad. Since the Covid-19 epidemic broke out throughout the world, the medical team has actively communicated with the local ministry of health and the recipient hospitals for China's anti-epidemic experience, provided help to the medical staff of the recipient hospitals, and offered locals medical support to jointly build an anti-epidemic defense line through practical action. Under the leadership of China's Embassy to Chad and the provincial health commission, the medical team has vigorously guided the local government and hospitals to formulate anti-epidemic programs and given limited masks and hats to the recipient hospitals. Not only does this reflect the deep friendship between the Chinese government and the Chadian government and that between the two peoples but also a concrete action of the two countries to build a community of health for all.

Among these “Angels of Peace”, over 50 are from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, and Dr. Xiao Fan is one of them.

Dr. Xiao Fan's domestic workplace, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, has never slackened the work of epidemic prevention and control. In addition to sending multiple batches of medical teams to support the anti-epidemic fight in Hubei, the Hospital is also actively sharing anti-epidemic experience with the world. For example, many academic papers written by members of the medical aid team sent to Hubei as the main authors were published in internationally renowned journals and magazines; the Hospital adopts the Synapse3D technology to demonstrate how the mild cases are turned into severe cases under the attack of novel coronavirus against human lung tissues, which has been promoted and widely followed up on overseas platforms of authoritative media; During the epidemic, many experts from the Hospital also gave online lectures to peers from Indonesia and other countries, sharing relevant experience and knowledge of epidemic prevention and control.
