NCU Students achieve great results in National University Students Intelligent Car Race

Recently, the Finals of the 15th National University Students Intelligent Car Race organized by Automation Teaching Advisory Board under the Ministry of Education have been concluded with four teams sent by the Intelligent Car Race Center of NCU winning three first prizes and one second prize. The competition attracted 1,210 teams from 367 universities across the country, producing 73 first prizes and 139 second prizes in total.

Approved by the Ministry of Education, the National University Students Intelligent Car Race got listed as one of the humanities and technology competitions in the National Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Funding Project in 2008. It is also a Level A National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition included in the Evaluation Ranking List of China College and University Discipline Competition organized by the China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), making it one of the most influential discipline competitions among the Chinese undergraduates at present.

The Intelligent Car Race Center of NCU is one of the first centers set up by the university for students' discipline competitions and projects of innovation and entrepreneurship. Its establishment mainly serves the National University Students Intelligent Car Race and provides students with a comprehensive platform for learning, communication and competition.
