NCU has Accomplished a Success in 2019 World University Student Bridge Design Competition

On June 16, the results of “CCCC HPDI Cup” 2019 World University Student Bridge Design Competition were announced, and NCU got a good result.

The works of Bamboo·Silk and Winter Dreams selected and submitted by School of Civil Engineering and Architecture of our University won the third prize, in which Bamboo·Silk successfully entered the finals (top 12 works); Aquatic Cultural Center --- Qiawan Hongqiao acquired finalist. Teachers Hu Sicong and Zhou Tao obtained “Excellent Guide Teacher Award”, and “Outstanding Organization Award” was awarded to Representative Team of NCU.

This competition was co-hosted by China Highway & Transportation Society and CCCC Highway Consultants Company Limited. Lasted for half a year, this competition was divided into two parts: preliminary assessment and final competition. In preliminary period, 266 works from 65 domestic universities including Tongji University, Southeast University and Southwest Jiaotong University, as well as 14 foreign universities from America, Germany, Italy, Japan and Belgium were received, and 1179 students participated in the competition.
