Vice Governor Xia Wenyong Investigates the Commercialization of Scientific and Technological Achievements of NCU

On March 16, a delegation led by Xia Wenyong, Vice Governor of Jiangxi Province, visited Nanchang University (NCU) to investigate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Xi Hong, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Jiangxi Province, Luo Sihai, Secretary of the CPC Committee of NCU and Tu Zongcai, Vice President of NCU, accompanied this investigation.

Xia Wenyong visited successively the achievement exhibition and trading hall of NCU Technology Transfer Center, the incubation base of NCU National Science Park, the ultra-high temperature metal materials basic testing center of NCU International Institute for Materials Innovation to investigate the development of these platforms on the spot. Through detailed inquiries on the commercialization and proportional distribution of scientific and technological achievements, market application, science and technology enterprise incubation, science and technology industry cultivation, international cooperation, theservice to national strategies, etc., he had an in-depth understanding of how universities, as the main force of basic research and the source of major scientific and technological breakthroughs, established a service system that transformed scientific and technological achievements into new quality productive forces.
