President Yves JEAN of Université de Poitiers Visiting our University and His Group

As is reported (by International Affair Department) on October 30, the four of President Yves JEAN of Université de Poitiers, and his wife, managing vice president Loïc LEVOYER and one other person visited our university. President Zhou Chuangbing met the four persons of Yves JEAN.

Based on friendly cooperation relationship for over 20 years, both parties expressed that both universities shall develop further communication and cooperation, on the existing cooperation basis, explore new cooperation field. Then, representatives of both universities carried out deep discussions in the fields of Confucius Institute, Cooperative Education Project on China-France.

       Enterprise Management Master, Medicine, Law, Economy and Dual Culture of Management Major Students, teacher communication, and cooperative scientific research. Responsible persons of International Affairs Department, Economic Management School, Law School, The First Affiliated Hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital, China and France Center attended the conference.

During visit period, the delegation of Université de Poitiers visited our Qianhu campus, Academy of Bioscience, Museum, and the First and Second Affiliated Hospitals, deeply understood our conditions on teaching, scientific research, management of affiliated hospitals.

Cooperation between Université de Poitiers and our university began in 1997, and this is the first time for university president of France visiting our university. In 2016, both universities signed all-round cooperation agreement. For over 20 years, both universities develop substantial cooperation projects in the field of communication between teachers and students, talents dual culture, cooperative scientific research, and made great contributions to promote education, culture, and science and technology communication between both countries.
