Our Students Obtaining Good Results in 2017 "FLTRP CUP" English Contest

On October 28, 2017 FLTRP CUP English Speech, Writing, Reading Contest (Jiangxi Area) came to a successful conclusion in Gongqing City, Jiangxi Province. 382 competitors from over 40 national higher institutions of higher learning attended this contest. Each school has only three quota for each contest, and competitors are all selected strictly by schools with fierce competition.

Our university selected 9 competitors through strict qualification trials, and 8 of them achieved excellent results in three contests. Through one-day fierce competition, in speech contest, Liu Yuhan, from school of foreign languages of our university won special prize, Ye Wenxi, from school of foreign languages of our university won the first prize, Wei Yunzhou, from school of economic management won the second prize; in writing contest in the same day, Li Yue, from Queen Mary University of London, and Huang Hui from school of foreign languages won the first prize, Jiang Weiyu, from school of foreign languages won the third prize; in reading contest, Hong Li, from school of foreign languages, won the first prize, and Miao Yuqing, from Queen Mary University of London won the second prize.

“FLTRP CUP” English Contest has been successfully held for 19 times, and School of Foreign Languages of Nanchang University actively organizes and trains students to attend this contest, creating good extracurricular English study platform for students.
