NCU First Affiliated Hospital Achieved Excellent Results in 2023 National Finals of Painless Diagnosis and Treatment Speech Contest

        The 2023 national finals of the “Circle Q - Painless Diagnosis and Treatment Speech Contest”, hosted by the Chinese Medical Education Association and co-organized by the Anesthesia Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Education Association, were recently held in Shanghai. The team “Drunk Mirror Slightly Tipsy”, composed of Dr. Li Gan from the Department of Anesthesiology and Dr. He Mingyan from the Department of Gastroenterology at NCU First Affiliated Hospital won the first prize in this competition.

This competition aims to standardize the clinical anesthesia diagnosis and treatment pathway, promote the popularization and development of painless diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, enhance interdisciplinary communication and interaction in the field of anesthesia, improve the quality of anesthesia services, and facilitate the construction and cultivation of anesthesia talents. The competition has attracted over 300 teams from across the country, and after multiple rounds of selection, a total of 8 teams have made it to the finals.

Li Gan and He Mingyan shared their clinical practice experience through case analysis, delving into the advantages and challenges of painless diagnosis and treatment in practical applications. Their speech was rich in content, with distinct viewpoints, fully reflecting the collaborative spirit of a multidisciplinary team. It also showcased the exceptional technical expertise and high-level professional competence of NCU First Affiliated Hospital in painless diagnosis and treatment. As a result, they received unanimous recognition from both the audience and judges.
