Professor Yue Zhihao Wins the First Place in the National Finals of the 8th "Maker China" Lithium Battery (New Energy)

Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest    

(From the Research Institute of Photovoltaic) On September 14th, the National Finals of the 8th "Maker China" Lithium Battery (New Energy) Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest kicked off in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. The contest was divided into a maker group and an enterprise group. Professor Yue Zhihao, Deputy Dean of the Research Institute of Photovoltaic at Nanchang University, won the first place in the maker group with his project titled “a Novel In-situ Composite Lithium-ion Silicon-carbon Negative Electrode Material”. Professor Yue achieved this remarkable success on behalf of Nanchang University and its incubated enterprise, Jiangxi Guiying New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., after successfully advancing from the preliminary rounds to the semi-finals, and ultimately to the finals.     

The Contest was co-organized by the Cybersecurity Industrial Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (Information Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province and the People’s Government of Yichun Municipality, attracting more than 300 teams from all over the country. The organizers of the finals have organized a judging panel headed by academicians to meticulously make the decisions on awards. During the Contest, Professor Yue Zhihao carried out active and in-depth exchanges with domestic peers in the field of lithium battery.
