President Zhou Chuangbing met Consul General Olivier Guyonvarch of France and his group in Wuhan

On the morning of September 2nd, Consul General Olivier Guyonvarch of France in Wuhan attended the 20th anniversary ceremony for the cooperative education between Nanchang University and the University of Poitiers and met with President Zhou Chuangbing and Vice President Li Baoming.

Zhou Chuang Bing thanked Consulate General of France in Wuhan for their long term attention and support to the cooperative education between Nanchang University and the University of Poitiers and said that Nanchang University would further strengthen cooperation and exchanges with universities in France, hoping Consulate General of France in Wuhan to pay more attention to Jiangxi and Nanchang University in the future, hold more Sino-French cultural exchange activities in Jiangxi and Nanchang University, introduce French cooperators and cooperating projects and continue to give support and convenience in French teaching, student cultivation, France visa issuance etc. Olivier Guyonvarch said he would further support and promote cooperation and exchanges between Nanchang University and French universities and invited President Zhou Chuangbing to attend the 20th anniversary ceremony of Consulate General of France in Wuhan.

After the meeting, Zhou Chuangbing and Olivier Guyonvarch attended the 20th anniversary ceremony jointly held by Nanchang University and the University of Poitiers, giving their passionate speech at the ceremony and jointly visiting the cooperative education picture exhibition.

The cooperative education project on business management between Nanchang University and the University of Poitiers began in 1997 and now has issued French master's degree to more than 1100 students, sent more y 700 students to study in France and received more than 150 French students studying in China. The project has provide a large number of high quality, composite and international talents to the society and promoted educational and cultural exchanges between China and France.
