The final of the 23rd China Daily “21st Century·Coca-Cola Cup” National English Speaking Competition was held in Hangzhou Normal University from April 12 to April 15, and the English major student Cai Danting of Grade 2016 of our University won the first prize.
The “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition is hosted by English official media China Daily of our country and undertaken by 21st Century English Newspaper; it is a top-grade competition in China. There were competitors from 72 higher institutions in all provinces and cities includingHong Kong,MacaoandTaiwanattending the competition. After two-day semifinals, Student Cai Danting stood out from the 72 competitors and became one of the competitors qualified for the finals, and finally won the first prize.
