2018 Chinese Spring Camp of Confucius Institute of Université de Poitiers was held in NCU from April 10 to April 16, which attracted more than 100 French students loving Chinese culture. After screening, there were 31 teachers and students from Université de Poitiers,IsaacHigh SchoolandPioneerHigh Schoolattending the spring camp.
During this period, NCU elaborately arranged practical Chinese courses and activities with distinctive Chinese traditional culture features for teenagers fromFrance, like Tai Ji, Chinese painting, porcelain plate painting, tug of war, and etc. The campers also visited Tengwang Pavilion with profound historical and cultural deposits. Teenagers fromFrancewould go toBeijingto further experience the profound history and splendid culture of the Chinese nation on April 17.
On the afternoon of April 16, NCU held closing ceremony, and Vice President Li Baoming issued Certificate of Completion to the campers. French students sang in chorus Chinese song Jasmine to demonstrate their rapid improvement in Chinese in only one week, also expressed their thanks to NCU with this song.
