Recently, Stroke Screening and Prevention Engineeringwssion Office of National Health and Family Planning Commission issued name lists of September 2017 of comprehensive top one hundred of national senior stroke center and top 50 of six technological singles, the second affiliated hospital of Nanchang University was elected into the top one hundred, ranking 75; incarceration of aneurysm and interventional embolization entered into top 50, and ranking 16.
In May 2016, in 2016 China Stroke Conference hosted by National Health and Family Planning Commission, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University accepted authentication and awarding, became domestic few “national senior stroke center”. It symbolizes the hospital has achieved national advanced level in multidisciplinary combination standard diagnosis and treatment. The hospital president Cheng Xiaoshu said, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University opened “heart and cerebral vessels emergency treatment green channel” as early in 2012, established “cerebrovascular disease diagnosis and treatment center”, opened a shortcut for acute heart and cerebral vessels treatment. After becoming senior stroke center, the president undertakes business guidance and technical training work for provincial stroke treatment center or county/district-level medical institutions, with the security of stroke patients all over Jiangxi.
It is known that national senior stroke center top one hundred hospital ranking is made according to numbers of submitted intravenous thrombolysis, thrombectomy and bypass, carotid endarterectomy, carotid artery stenting, incarceration of aneurysm, interventional embolization, and patient’s time from hospitalization to treatment, scieantific research and training ability, regional differences and so on. Election into top one hundred list this time is accreditation and confirmation on the second affiliated hospital’s work on stroke screening and prevention.
