Controllable Preparation and Properties of Inorganic Amorphous Nanomaterials
Lecturer: Guo Lin
Professor Guo Lin is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the primary discipline leader of Chemistry at Beihang University, a Blue Sky Distinguished Professor, the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Bionic Materials and Interface Science, the Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the Principal Investigator of major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chief Scientist of Key Research and Development Programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology, a National Outstanding Teacher, and a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance.
Academician Guo has long been dedicated to the synthesis and property research of inorganic amorphous micro/nanomaterials, achieving fruitful results. He has established the chemical synthesis methodology for amorphous micro/nano materials and the corresponding theory of structure-property relationship, and the materials developed based on his research have achieved significant practical applications. He has published more than 450 SCI papers with more than 27,000 non-self citations, and has been recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate and Elsevier. He holds 45 authorized national invention patents. He was also invited to author the English academic monograph Amorphous Nanomaterials (2021, Wiley-VCH), for which he received the Excellent Author Award. He won the Second Prize of the State Natural Science Award, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of the Chinese Society of Particuology, and the Royal Society of Chemistry’s Dalton Horizon Prize.
