From May 8 to May 13, the delegation led by President Zhou Chuangbing was invited to visit three higher institutions in the UK and Sweden. The delegation visited famous institutions in the UK—University of Leeds and Queen Mary University of London from May 8 to May 10. Vice President of University of Leeds—Professor Yu Haisui met with the delegation, and both parties have reached a consensus on the cooperation in terms of students’ exchange, improving the teaching and scientific research level of teachers in Nanchang University as well as “2+2”, “3+1” or “3+2” projects, and both parties also discussed to strengthen the exchange in the field of technology. The delegation also visited School of Food Science and Nutrition, and the laboratories of Faculty of Environment and Faculty of Engineering of the University, and made discussion on the cooperation in the fields of teaching and scientific research.
During the period of visiting in the UK, the delegation made an official visit to Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in the UK.
