Teachers of School of Materials Science and Engineering achieved good results in the National College Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Profe

From September 22 to 24, the second “National College of Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Professional Young Teachers Lectures Competition and the 2017 Annual Meeting of Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education” was held in Wuhan University of Technology. Properties of Materials of teacher Li Fan and Foundations of Materials Science of teacher Rao Zhenggang of School of Materials Science and Engineering were awarded the first prize and an honorable mention in this competition respectively.

This National College of Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Professional Young Teachers Lectures Competition was sponsored by the Inorganic Non-metallic Materials Professional Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education, organized by Wuhan University of Technology. The competition took the form of limited participants, grouped preliminaries and the final, more than 70 young teachers from over 50 colleges and universities took part in the lecture competition, such as South China University of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Tongji University and Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. The competition contents were centred on materials science, materials engineering and materials application three curriculum of inorganic non-metallic materials, which provided a platform for learning, exchange and mutual promotion to further improve the construction of young teachers team in colleges and universities, stimulate and encourage young teachers to actively participate in teaching and enhance teaching ability, and comprehensively improve the advanced specialized talents cultivation quality in the field of materials.
