On November 2, 2017 Management Work Seminar of Regional Connection Network (East China Area) of National Natural Science Foundation of China was held in Nanchnag, responsible persons of Planning Bureau, Financial Bureau, International Cooperation Bureau, Scientific Research Construction of Honesty and Faithfulness, Information Center and Mathematical and Physical Science Department of National Natural Science Foundation of China, partial relying unit funds management personnel of east China regional connection network totaling over 200 persons attended this seminar. Our vice president Deng Xiaohua attended this seminar and made a speech.
Responsible persons of relevant departments of National Natural Science Foundation of China made keynote speeches, and contents involve 2017 National Natural Science Foundation of China declaration and funding condition, National Natural Science Foundation of China project funds management, information management system introduction, science fund supervision work under new situation and 2017 international (area) cooperation and communication projects, introduction on application and funding of mathematics project and so on. Nanchang University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Ocean University of China and Nanjing University as relying units made communication reports. Responsible persons of relevant departments of National Natural Science Foundation of China, institutions of higher learning in six provinces and one city in east China, and scientific research institutions conducted deep discussion and communication on relevant issues in two branch meeting places.
Regional connection network of National Natural Science Foundation of China is an important work platform for communication between National Natural Science Foundation of China and relying units. At present, China is divided into six area according to north west, north east, north China, east China, middle-of-south, and south west, each area holds a regional connection network working conference for once every two years, centers on developing relevant trainings, discussions and communications activities of national natural science foundation. In line with conference arrangement, 2017 regional connection network (east China area) management work seminar is held by our university.
