From October 12 to 15, Nanchang University (NCU) hosted the 2025 Jiangxi Exchange Program for Secondary School Principals from Hong Kong and Macao. WANG Li,Vice President of NCU, joined the event. LUO Sihai, Secretary of the CPC Committee of NCU, met with the delegation of principals from Hong Kong and Macao secondary schools. The meeting was attended by LIU Jianguang, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department.
During the event, Nanchang University held the First Jiangxi-Hong Kong-Macao Secondary School Principals Forum. Principals from secondary schools in Hong Kong, Macao, and Jiangxi Province engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as basic education cooperation, curriculum co-development, and resource sharing, jointly mapping out a blueprint for collaborative development in education across the three regions. The forum reached a consensus on educational cooperation, with principals from Jiangxi, Hong Kong, and Macao expressing their commitment to sharing resources and exploring new, deeper, and broader models of cooperation across multiple fields. They also agreed to jointly explore new paths for educational cooperation and exchanges, nurture talents with both a sense of patriotism and an international perspective, and contribute to the high-quality development of basic education.
While on the visit, the delegation attended a special lecture titled "Jiangxi's Colorful Culture" and experienced the charm of tea culture. The delegation also visited the History Museum of Nanchang University and its affiliated schools, observed "AI + Education" classroom practices on site, and toured venues such as the Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall. Through cultural lectures, immersive experiences in revolutionary history, and innovative demonstrations of technology-based education, the principals from Hong Kong and Macao deepened their understanding of Jiangxi's cultural heritage and enhanced their awareness of the social development in the Chinese mainland.
