Students of NCU’s School of Journalism and Communication won the Grand Prize at the 6th International University Student Voice Acting Competition

On October 30th, with solid professional competence and outstanding live performance, students of NCU’s School of Journalism and Communication won a National Grand Prize, a First Prize, and two Third Prizes at the 6th International University Student Voice Acting Competition.

Guided by the China Collegial Association for Visual Art (CCAVA) and co-organized by Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ) and Sohu, the competition brought together dubbing talents from universities around the world and attracted 15,618 works from 437 universities worldwide to compete fiercely.

The four students, Zhong Yueyi, Ren Runtian, Wu Tong, and Wang Zhanxiang carried all before them and won the National Grand Prize in the Anime and Game Category eventually, ranking 7th nationally—NCU’s best achievement in this competition. Meanwhile, Wang Haibo earned a National First Prize in the Promo Category. Another two teams, one consisting of Wei Zihan and Huang Zichang, and the other comprising Pu Longning, Wu Yihan, Zhang Yueying, Liu Ziyu, Liu Qiongyin, and Liu Meiping, obtained two National Third Prizes in the Anime and Game category. Four teachers, Cai Jing, Zhong Ming, Zhang Jiani, and Liu Qing were awarded the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Awards. NCU was also honored with the Outstanding Organization Award.
