Professor Hu Xiaotian from Nanchang University (NCU) was Awarded the Chinese Materials Research Society (CMRS) Science and Technology Award-Young Scientist Award

According to a report from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, at the 2025 Chinese Materials Conference held in Xiamen from July 5th to 8th, Professor Hu Xiaotian from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at NCU was honored with the 2025 CMRS Science and Technology Award-Young Scientist Award.

The CMRS Science and Technology Award, approved by the National Office for Science and Technology Awards, aims to recognize innovative achievements in materials science that include significant and influential discoveries at the forefront of research or major technological breakthroughs. The Young Scientist Award specifically honors outstanding young scientific and technological talents who have made significant achievements or outstanding contributions in scientific research or engineering technology, show strong potential for future development, and are role models in scientific ethics.

Professor Hu Xiaotian has long been engaged in research in the field of polymer materials, particularly wearable photovoltaic devices, and has produced a number of innovative research results. This award represents high recognition of his exceptional contributions to materials science and fully demonstrates his profound academic expertise and leadership in innovation.
