This website reports (Correspondent Zhang Shuixiang, Student Journalist Chen Rui) in the afternoon of October 15, Liu Guiqin, head of Social Science Department of Ministry of Education, and his group investigated philosophy social science research work conditions in our university, accompanied by Ye Rensun, vice secretary of provincial Party committee education work commission, head of education department.
Liu Guiqin and his group investigated China central economic society development research center of humanities and social science key research base, and then attended study forum. University party committee secretary Hu Yongxin, party committee vice secretary Xu Qiuzhen, head of Jiangxi development research institute Huang Xijia attended the study forum. Hu Yongxin presided this forum, and expressed welcome of the study group.
Liu Yaobin, director of China central economic society development research center, Zhou Shaosen, center honorary director and the previous party committee secretary of Nanchang University introduced center building construction conditions and further development plan. Chief of social science section Hu Boxiang introduced relevant conditions on Jiangxi college students ideological and political education and innovation center. Huang Xijia, being responsible for social science research work introduced university philosophy social science conditions.
Liu Guiqin confirmed the significant achievements in philosophy social science research of our university since the 18th National Congress of the CPC. He emphasized on grasping key historical opportunities of planning as a whole, promoting “double first-rate” construction, vigorously boosting connotative development of higher education, to further to plan aims, key points and routs of philosophy social science development in the future period. He hoped that China central economic society development research center would promote political stance, deeply study, propagandize and illustrate general secretary Xi Jinping’s economic thoughts; focus on the main research direction, firmly center on party and national strategies particularly implement of boosting Changjiang economic belt development strategy, be better to service our central region economic society development practice; promote cooperation and innovation, perfect cooperative mechanism with political policy decision-making departments, scientific research institutions, domestic institutions of higher learning and schools and departments of university, make more remarkable important results, and strive for achieving new steps.
