In the evening of October 13, The Sixth Laika Cup National University Metallographic Skill Competition hosted by Institutions of Higher Learning Material Professional Teaching Steering Commission of Ministry of Education, undertaken by Nanchang University, Nanchang Hangkong University and Jiangxi Science & Technology Normal University successfully came to a close, our university won the special award as the first in team total score, obtaining the running cup Laika Cup of this competition, meanwhile, Liu Dong from Material Science and Engineering School won the personal first prize, Lin Rui and Liao Xiaoqin from the above school won the personal second prize.
In the 3-day competition, 497 competitors from 167 institutions of higher learning went through fierce competition, and finally 95 competitors won personal first prizes, 152 competitors won personal second prizes, 184 competitors won personal third prizes. 7 institutions of higher learning won group special awards and 24 institutions won group first prizes.
