(Cross-Border Education Center) Chen Yeguang, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and President of Nanchang University (NCU), and Deng Xiaohua, Vice President of NCU, met a delegation from Indonesia led by I Putu Gede Adiatmika, Vice Rector of Udayana University (UNUD), on 27th February.
In the cooperation meeting and signing ceremony between NCU and UNUD, President Chen Yeguang warmly welcomed the delegation from UNUD. He affirmed the fruitful achievements of two universities in carrying out substantive educational and cultural exchanges in recent years. “The exchanges between China and Indonesia have a long history. The strategic cooperation between our two universities has good cooperation conditions and broad prospects for cooperation,” Chen said: “The visit led by Vice Rector I Putu Gede Adiatmika will help our two universities to deepen mutual understanding, enhance strategic cooperation, and promote the cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds between our two countries. We should grasp the development opportunities provided by the Belt and Road Initiative and Indonesia's Global Maritime Fulcrum strategy to promote the win-win cooperation between China and Indonesia.”
I Nyoman Gde Antara, Rector of Udayana University, attended the meeting and made a speech online. In his speech, he expressed the hope to strengthen inter-university cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries by signing the cooperation agreement. Deng Xiaohua and I Putu Gede Adiatmika exchanged the framework cooperation memorandum signed by two universities under the witness of the president of NCU and the rector of UNUD.
