As is reported (by Huang Yanqiu), on Apr. 29, the final of the first “Chinese Post-graduate Student Public Management Case Competition” of “Case Central Cup” took place in Zhejiang University. Under the guidance of Professor Han Yi, the “Sunlight Team” consisting of postgraduates, Chen Nianping, Xu Wenjun and Li Yueyu, from School of Public Management of our university stood out from 671 competing teams all over the world; after the expert review, they won the third prize in the final, which was the only award of Jiangxi Province.
Chinese Post-graduate Student Public Management Case Competition is joint organized by China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center and National MPA Education Steering Committee; it is aimed to guide the wide range of postgraduates, especially those majoring in public management, so that they can further improve the comprehensive quality; it promotes the case teaching methods in the higher education of public management, and boosts the communication of universities and colleges with governmental organizations and non-governmental public institutions. From 2014 when our university initiated the project establishment and construction of postgraduate teaching cases, 166 teaching cases have been established and constructed, which has played an active role in boosting the reform of our postgraduate cultivation mode in major and academic degree.
