TRPC6 and the Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease

Wang Yizheng, a doctoral supervisor and an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), currently serves as Dean of the Institute for Translational Brain Research (ITBR) at Fudan University, Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases at Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and Distinguished Researcher at the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. He also holds concurrent positions as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience and Vice President of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
He has long been dedicated to research in neurobiology and leads his team in conducting brain-inspired computing research motivated by biological vision, which has significantly improved the detection and tracking capability of low-altitude, slow-speed and small-sized targets in complex backgrounds. He has received numerous honors, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Natural Science Award, the Military Science and Technology Progress Award, the Shanghai Science and Technology Award, the Outstanding Science and Technology Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Excellent Graduate Supervisors Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
