Recent Carbon Isotope Labeling TechniquesInvolving Organometallic Intermediates

Lecturer:Troels Skrydstrup

Troels Skrydstrup, an Academician of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, the Danish Natural Sciences Academy, and the Danish Engineering Academy, fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, knighted by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Chemistry at Aarhus University, expert in the field of sustainable development research. Professor Skrydstrup mainly engaged in research work on drug synthesis, green chemistry, carbon neutralization, and plastic degradation. He currently serves as the director of the Carbon Dioxide Activation Center at Denmark's National Centre for Excellence in Research, as well as the executive deputy director of the Interdisciplinary Carbon Neutralization Research Center at Novo Nordisk Foundation. He previously served as the head of the Department of Chemistry at Aarhus University and also as the director of iNano Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center. In 2018, Professor Skrydstrup was awarded the prestigious Melvin Calvin Prize by the International Isotope Society.

Professor Skrydstrup has published over 290 high-level international research papers, most of which were published in top-tier journals such as Nature, Nature Catalysis, Nature Chemistry, Nature Synthesis, Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie, and Chemical Science. These articles have been cited more than 18,000 times with an h-index of 74.
